This is a love story.

Willie Wilson, Royals Stadium, 1979

Technically, the story of this company dates back to the summer of 1979. That’s when Willie Wilson met Kurt Saberi for the first time on the warning track of then Royals Stadium. At only four months old, a love for the game was already being established. From the beginning, the numbers that surrounded the game were of particular interest to our founder. In this case, the number six. This was Willie’s number on the field. Not long after that, Kurt had committed all the Royals players’ names, numbers, and field positions to memory as they paved their way to the 1985 World Series.

As a player and lifelong fan, it’s safe to say that baseball has made an indelible mark on our founder.

Love is never without heartache.
